I\'d like to add a few suggestions as to Thay\'s gathas which Vicente could use in difficult moments - l) from Thay\'s dharma talk dated 30 July 97 (PV website - transcriptions) - In, out. Deep, slow. Calm, ease. Smile, release. Present moment, wonderful moment. 2) from Thay\'s dharma talk dated 5 April 98 (PV website transcriptions) \"Do not pursue the past. Do not lose yourself in the future. The past no longer is. The future has not yet come. Looking deeply at life as it is in the very here and now, the practitioner dwells in stability and freedom\" 3) From Thay\'s book \"Teachings on Love\" \"Being an island unto myself, As an island unto myself, Buddha is my mindfulness, Shining near shining far, Dharma is my breathing, Guarding body and mind, I am free. Being an island unto myelf, As an island unto myself, Sangha is my skandas, working in harmony. Taking refuge in myself, coming back to myself, I am free. 4) Another source which is very helpful during difficult moments, although not a poem, is Thay\'s dharma talk on PV transcriptions, dated 19 February 98, pages 11-13. 5) From Thay\'s set of meditation cards \"Moments of Mindfulness\", one I have found particularly helpful in these difficult moments, is \"The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, a gentle wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms\". Maybe you could place this on your site, as they may help your correspondent. I think the gathas in \"Present Moment, Wonderful Moment\" may be more appropiate for everyday situations rather than difficult moments. With best wishes and many thanks for all the wonderful items being placed on your site. I love \"True Power\" - please add some more of Thay\'s talks as soon as you can. Trish Palmer.
