This week we're happy to share the closing talk of the recent Deer Park retreat for couples. Three dharma teachers, Jerry Braza from Oregon, Tony Sylvester from Pennsylvania and Peggy Rowe from California, led couples in a weekend of developing mindfulness in their relationships. They share their reflections on their experience at the retreat and reflect on the nurturing effect that the practice has had on their own relationships.
Remember you can find the Deer Park Dharmacast online at dpcast.net, on Twitter, Facebook, and iTunes. Enjoy this moment to stop and look deeply.
I blveeie that the new dharma symbol is in fact a astrological reference to the sun god apollo, who six branching states coincide with the symbols of the known hatches. also the statue could be of an ancient people who worshiped apollo on the island. The story of gilgamesh and the relevance of apollo will be very important in the answers revealed in season 3.
That sounds very interesting. Never heard of the Apollo connection before. Maybe this is the reason why the chocolate bars are called Apollo bars?

Congrats, my dd who is now 11 yr old . Was 10 months on her first chstaimrs. Look for age appropriate toys, play school makes a great selection. The reason for age appropriateness is that small pieces can choke babies, and pieces have been known to come off older kids dolls and toys and stuffed animals. My dd fav at that age was an activity table where she could make noise and sort shapes ! We also got her a baby rocking horse and a bucket of linking rings for babies that were very colorful she loved them. Last but not least we got her some cardboard books that she could look at and chew on. A Christmas outfit to have her pic taken in was also our fav to save the memories. good luck and enjoy. Morgaine
